Cables to Connect Mitsubishi PLC I/O Modules and I/O Relay Terminals

Question

Are there cables available to connect Mitsubishi Programmable Controller I/O Modules and I/O Relay Terminals?

Answer

Cables are available to connect 32-point and 64-point Connector-type I/O Modules for Mitsubishi Programmable Controllers.

Note:
1.Insert a 2- or 3-digit number corresponding to the cable dimensions.
2.Insert a 2- or 3-digit number corresponding to the cable dimensions.

Note:Before use, check the input voltage and other specifications of the Programmable Controller Module as well as the model and rated voltage of the I/O Relay Terminal.

CE Marking for XS2F / XS3F I/O Connector?

Question

Does the I/O connector of the XS2F/XS3F Sensors have CE marking?

Answer

The XS2F and XS3F do not have the CE marking. These products are not functional parts but connecting parts, therefore they are not subject to certification.
The safety of the product as a connecting part has been carefully considered, but you must check the compatibility of EC Directives with the machines and devices that you are using in your system.

Can G6B-4-C Terminal Cover be Placed on G3S4 Terminal Relay?

Question

Can the G6B-4-C Terminal Cover be placed on the G3S4 Terminal Solid-state Relay?

Answer

No, it cannot be placed on the G3S4-A/-D, but it can be placed on the G3S4-A1/-D1. The G3S4-A/-D Terminal Solid-state Relay has a heat sink and the Terminal Cover and the heat sink are attached by hooking them on a claw on the case. There is only one hook, so both devices cannot be attached at the same time.

Applicable models: G3S4-A, G3S4-A1, G3S4-D, and G3S4-D1 Terminal Solid-state Relay

Output Relay Terminal that Use Relays with NC Contacts

Question

Is there a model of G7TC-O[][] Output Relay Terminal that use relays with NC contacts?

Answer

No. There are no Relay Terminals that provide relays with NC contacts.

You can purchase the I/O Relay Terminal and I/O Relays separately and use them together.

Note:The coil voltage must be specified for the I/O Terminal and the I/O Relays.

Example: Creating a Relay Terminal using the G7TC-OC16 24 VDC (NC contacts).

Sixteen G7T-1012S 24-VDC Relays are required for one G7TF-OS16 24-VDC I/O Terminal.

Applicable models: G7TC-OC16, G7TC-OC16-1, and G7TC-OC08

Apply Voltage to Power Supply Terminals on Terminal Section and Connector

Question

The M7E Digital Display (character height: 80, 120, or 200 mm) has power supply terminals on both the terminal section and the connector. Does voltage need to be applied to both of these?

Answer

No. They are internally connected, so only one of them needs to be powered.
Applicable models: M7E-08,M7E-12, M7E-20, and M7F Digital Display

Connect AC and DC Loads to G7TC-OC[][] I/O Relay Terminal Simultaneously

Question

Can AC loads and DC loads be connected to the G7TC-OC[][] I/O Relay Terminal at the same time?

Answer

Yes, but check the following maximum switching capacity graph and make sure that the loads don't exceed the maximum values.

Switching Section

Note:This specification is for a switching frequency of 120 operations/min.
